Beginning Quilting

Before the first class:
You must be comfortable with your sewing machine to take this class.  If your machine is making weird noises or the tension is funky, take it in for service before you start!  A well maintained machine makes piecing so much easier.

What to bring the first class:
Bring any rules and rotary cutters that you already own.  Do not go buy new before class.  You can test out ours before deciding which ones you like best.
Notebook and pencil

Fabrics will be chosen and purchased during the first class.  You will receive 10% off all purchases made during class.  (4 - 5 yards needed for quilt top)

There is a 3 week gap built into the schedule to allow for bad weather and quilting time, so we will be able to learn the basics of binding at the last class.

Additional fees required for long-arm quilting.
