Beginning Quilting

Before the first class:
You must be comfortable with your sewing machine to take this class.  If your machine is making weird noises or the tension is funky, take it in for service before you start!  A well maintained machine makes piecing so much easier.

What to bring the first class:
Bring any rules and rotary cutters that you already own.  Do not buy new before class.  You can test out ours before deciding which ones you like best.
Notebook and pencil
Machines do NOT need to be brought to the first class.

Fabrics will be chosen and purchased during the first class.  You will receive 10% off all purchases made during class.  (4 - 5 yards needed for quilt top)

Quilts may be left to be quilted between the 3rd and 4th sessions.

The 4th/last session will be learning how to bind.  It will be scheduled in January (not necessarily the 11th) at the discretion of class participants and instructor.

Additional fees required for long-arm quilting.
